An Invitation to the New Screen Industry Group!

You are warmly invited to the first meeting of the #WeShallNotBeRemoved Screen Industry Group

Time: 11am – 12pm (‘arrivals’ from 10.45am)

The meeting is being co-chaired by Oska Bright Film Festival (www.oskabright.org) and Beacon Films (www.beaconfilms.org.uk)

The meeting is open for all, and particular attention will be given to making the event accessible for people with learning disabilities, autism and neurodiversity

For accessibility reasons we are limiting capacity to 15 guests, but if there is high demand we will organise more meetings.

The aims of the first meeting will be to:

• Present some facts about the current situation for disabled people in the screen industry
• Get to know each other and find out what we all hope to get out of the screen industry group
• Put forward a suggestion for our first campaign

• We will be using PowerPoint slides to help understanding for people with learning disabilities, and all information contained in the slides will be fully described.
• We will invite all attendees to tell the meeting who they are and what they want to get out of the group. You do not have to do this if you do not want to and assistance will be available to those who need it.
